Mainkind est un groupe rock / hard-rock aux multiples influences : Poison, Ratt, Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper... ils s'inspirent notamment des australiens de The Dead Daisies. Notre mission, créer du bon vieux rock dans le style des années 70/80, rassembler des musiciens de talent et passer un bon moment à faire vivre le rock. Le groupe est formé en 2006 par Tony Treynel (batterie ; ex : Thunderland, Dygitals, Freak Show, Snake Eye, Factor Hate) après plusieurs expériences en heavy metal mélodique et metal progressif. Les premières compositions de Mainkind voient le jour dans une démo de 5 titres qui ne sera pas commercialisée et le groupe splittera une première fois. Croyant encore et toujours à ce projet, Tony met en place en 2016 un nouveau Line-Up. Le groupe, ainsi constitué, assurera quelques premières parties remarquables et remarquées telles que The Four Horsemen (tribute officiel de Metallica), Kaned, Adam Bomb, Wild Ride, Desolation Angels, No One Is Innocent, et bien d'autres... Ils joueront également dans plusieurs festivals : Rock n' Metal, Festival No Limit, Fertois Rock In Fest... En 2017, Mainkind enregistre son premier album au studio Blue Gamm, sous la direction de Michel Taitinger (Nina Von Horn, Lucky Peterson...). Malheureusement une nouvelle séparation interviendra et après une pause de 2 ans, pendant laquelle Tony s’investira dans diverses formations ne souhaitant toujours rien lâcher, il décide de remonter le groupe et passe la région au peigne fin afin de dénicher de nouveaux musiciens pour une formation pérenne. C’est ainsi qu’il recrute Bucky Tannen, (guitare ; ex: Greatland), Vince Lawry (guitare) et Nicko Kalifornia (basse ; ex: West Side) qui vont composer la base de cette nouvelle mouture. Plusieurs auditions pour le poste de chanteur sont organisées, sans succès. Afin de ne pas perdre de temps et compte tenu de l’osmose qui s’est créée entre eux, ils commencent à composer de nouveaux morceaux sans ligne de chant ou parfois avec seulement quelques bribes. C'est à ce moment-là que Mainkind pense à intégrer Terry "Titi" Wild, (chant, ex Heavintage-Stone Deaf-Factor Hate- the Substitutes, collectif THAT’S MY JAM et bien d’autres), auteur compositeur et actuellement fondateur et chanteur de A Taste Of A.C (tribute français officiel à Alice Cooper). Tony et Terry se connaissent depuis longtemps pour avoir officié ensemble dans diverses formations. Terry se met immédiatement au travail et propose au groupe des lignes de chant (Paroles et mélodie) pour les morceaux déjà composés, qui sont acceptées. Pour certains autres morceaux il se contente de modifier quelques éléments existants, écrit à l’origine par Tony. Quelques prestations scéniques sous cette formation, confortent la cohésion du groupe sous cette formation. Le groupe décide alors de donner vie aux compositions sur lesquelles ils travaillent. C’est ainsi que va naitre, FOOL’S GAME, dont la sortie officielle fera l’objet d’un concert mémorable au Forum de VAUREAL le 12 octobre 2024. Toujours sous la direction de Michel Taitinger, fidèle et premier fan du groupe, et avec l’aide de Louis Limpalaer, c’est une galette de 11 titres qui voit le jour après quelques séances en studio intensives. Ce nouvel album fait apparaitre des influences et des couleurs variées allant des racines profondes du Rock n’Roll a la balade western, du Hard Rock comme on l’aime au métal qui tâche, une palette assez large, qui correspond à l’identité de Mainkind. Ce nouvel album est le fruit de plusieurs mois de travail acharné pour trouver les arrangements et finaliser la couleur que le groupe souhaitait donner à cet opus pour ce nouveau départ. Nul doute qu’il est le reflet fidèle de ce qu’est et sera Mainkind dans les années à venir. Le groupe travaille d’ores et déjà sur de nouvelles compositions.

Mainkind is a rock / hard-rock band with a wide range of influences: Poison, Ratt, Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, The Dead Daisies… Our mission is to create good old-fashioned rock in the style of the 70s and 80s, bringing together talented musicians and having a good time bringing rock to life. The band was formed in 2006 by Tony Treynel (drums; ex: Thunderland, Dygitals, Freak Show, Snake Eye, Factor Hate) after several experiments in melodic heavy metal and progressive metal. Mainkind's first songs appeared on a 5-track demo, which was never released commercially, and the band split up for the first time due to working obligations. Still believing in the project, Tony put together a new line- up in 2016. The new line-up will support several remarkable opening acts, including The Four Horsemen (official Metallica tribute), Kaned, Adam Bomb, Wild Ride, Desolation Angels, No One Is Innocent, and many others... They'll also be playing at several festivals: Rock n' Metal, Festival No Limit, Fertois Rock in Fest... In 2017, Mainkind recorded their first album at Blue Gamm studio, under the direction of Michel Taitinger (Nina Von Horn, Lucky Peterson...). Unfortunately, the band split up again, and after a 2-year break, during which Tony was involved in various bands, he decided to put the band back together. He then decided to scout the region to find new musicians for a permanent line-up. He recruited Bucky Tannen (guitar; ex: Greatland), Vince Lawry (guitar) and Nicko Kalifornia (bass; ex: West Side), who formed the basis of the new line-up. Several auditions for the singer's position were held, without success. In order not to waste time and considering the osmosis that had been created between them, they began to compose new songs without a vocal line, or sometimes with only a few snippets. It was at this point that Mainkind thought of integrating Terry “Titi” Wild, (vocals, ex Heavintage-Stone Deaf- Factor Hate-the Substitutes, That’s my Jam collective and many others), songwriter and currently founder and singer of A Taste Of A.C (official French tribute to Alice Cooper). Tony and Terry have known each other for a long time, having played together in various bands. Terry immediately worked on the band vocal lines (lyrics and melody) for songs already written, which were accepted. For some of the other songs, he simply modified a few existing elements originally written by Tony. A few live performances with this formation reinforced the group's cohesion. The group then decided to give life to the songs they were working on. Thus was born FOOL'S GAME, whose official release was done during a memorable concert at the VAUREAL Forum on October 12, 2024. Still under the direction of Michel Taitinger, the band's first and most loyal fan, and with the help of Louis Limpalaer, an 11-track album was produced after several intensive studio sessions. This new album reveals a wide range of influences and colors, from the deep roots of Rock’n’roll to Western ballads, from Hard Rock as we like it to stubborn metal, a broad palette that corresponds to Mainkind's identity. This new album is the fruit of several months of hard work to find the arrangements and finalize the color that the band wanted to give to this opus for this new beginning. There's no doubt that it is a faithful reflection of what Mainkind is and will be in the years to come. The band is already working on new material.
